I always love to have a good reason to make up a drink. And a
happy reason is the best excuse for a
new beverage.
It is just five days before Taylor and Tom get married. I
love a good wedding, but I am exceptionally happy for this one. Taylor is one
of the nicest people you could meet. And, you might say I am a bit protective of her. When she
first started dating Tom I was leery. I was pretty sure I didn't want to meet
him, because I was pretty sure when she asked me what I thought about him she
wouldn't like the answer.
I am very happy to say I was wrong! Tom is a great guy. He
is kind, funny, loving, thoughtful, genuine, caring, and basically all things
good...just like Taylor. I will admit that I know Taylor a lot better than I
know Tom, but every time I get to know him a little better, I like him a little
bit better, and as I have already stated, I liked him from the beginning.
Anyone who is married
knows it isn't always easy, but it's worth it. I am pretty sure these two will
have a very long future of happiness together. When I picture them Tom is
dressed like he is ready to golf (blue plaid shorts that match the drink), and
Taylor has her beautiful wedding dress on, and they are both drinking the drink
I made for them. I know, nobody really sits around the house in a wedding dress,
so as long as they are happy, I don't care what either of them wear.
Taylor and Tom's wedding colors are cream and light blue
(sorry if you prefer they be called a different shade, Taylor). So obviously, I
needed to make a blue drink. I really like to say Curacao...so that was the logical
choice. Taylor and Tom, I wish you a life time of love, happiness, and delicious
cocktails.
